"Give us a big European team like barca or celtic"

Celtic? hahahahaha

Still be good to see the mighty CFC grace the OS pitch

Re: Mark Noble testimonial
I think it's great that someone actually thinks we're just going to throw the doors open to 54000 fans on the opening PL game without our fans, staff, stewards etc etc having the chance to have been to a warm up game to locate their entrances, the seats, toilets etc etc etc

Give us a big European team like barca or celtic, to get us used to the champions league standard.

Davenport 10:33 Tue Oct 27

Well you're wrong, the ground will need to have at least two "friendly" games so it can gain a safety certificate for a PL game.

Davenport 10:33 Tue Oct 27
Re: Mark Noble testimonial
Im sure ive read we dont take over occupancy of the ground till 1st league game.

So no home friendlies.

Why?

Of course there will be warm up games before the season starts to test the ground.

Re: Mark Noble testimonial
croe

that's the issue, they've been relegated. but at the same time i like the idea of playing a team that we have that history with.

Real Madrid.

Re: Mark Noble testimonial
Are 1860 a good enough side for such a game? Not sure

I can see the desire to play a team linked to our past "success" however maybe for such an occasion we should be aiming a little higher.

Re: Mark Noble testimonial
Who would you pick Kia?

I think TSV would be a great shout to usher in a new era of European football for the Hammers.
